A SHOCKING video shows the terrifying moment a Land Rover Defender was hit by another car.
The smash sends the Defender careering across a motorway before rolling over and flipping multiple times at high speed.
It all happened on a motorway in Orlando, Florida and was caught on a car’s dashcam before being uploaded to the New Defender Mods YouTube channel.
The camera car is making its way along the motorway’s outside lane while a Land Rover can be seen over on the inside lane.

It’s not clear whether the Defender is heading for the upcoming exit or trying to undertake traffic on the inside.
Whatever it’s doing, a Mazda CX-5 up ahead hasn’t seen it and makes a last-ditch attempt to make the exit between two HGVs.

The Mazda smashes into the side of the Land Rover sending it into a roll at high speed.
The Defender flips over multiple times right in front of the camera car as it heads towards the central barrier.
It then hits the barrier knocking down a lamp post in the process before coming to a stop in the middle of the opposite lanes.
The Land Rover is completely written off, with bits of it strewn across both sides of the motorway.

Incredibly, a description on the video says: “Thankfully the passengers in the New Defender escaped with only minor injuries.”
People were impressed by the Land Rover’s safety given the scale of the accident.
One person in comments said: “Seeing this video..wow…I’m really thinking that my next vehicle will be a Defender 110. That defender really held up well.”
Another said: “Walked away you say? Ordering a defender now (if I could afford it). Should be an ad for Land Rover.”#
