A LAND Rover that sat in a barn for more than 35 years has been discovered in Britain.
Revealed in a video uploaded to YouTube by The Bearded Explorer, the Classic Land Rover Series III had been sat abandoned since 1986.
The video’s description says: ‘One of my good friends recently let me know of a small collection of classic cars he was potentially buying which had been Left In a barn for many many years.
‘After the owner sadly passed away, the cars were being sold at an auction & my friend was hopeful to buy them.’

The video starts with the YouTubercrossing fields to get to the abandoned barn, but discovers some gems inside.
The classic Land Rover is in superb condition and has a 1986 tax disc in its window.

A look through the glass reveals the interior is in a similarly good condition to the outside.
The YouTuber zooms in on the Land Rover’s odometer, which says the Series III has covered just 2056 miles.
That’s probably the lowest mileage of any all-original Series III Land Rover on sale to the public.
A quick look underneath shows the Land Rover’s chassis is in great condition too – very rare on these rust-prone motors.
Its engine will need attention, but people will pay in excess of £50,000 for an original Series III in this condition.

The Land Rover is joined by some other incredible classics in the old abandoned barn.
There’s a Mk1 Ford Capri which the YouTuber reckons is one of the first ever made so could be worth as much as £70,000.
Completing the collection is a Rover 213 that has sat since 1988 and a classic tractor.
The YouTuber confirms his friend has managed to buy and save all three cars to be preserved for the future.
